The Turin Bar Association main duties are those provided under the paragraphs 29 and 30 of the Italian Legal Profession Law (Italian Law 31st December 2012, n. 247):
a) keep rolls, lists and registers
b) approve internal regulations, regulations in matters not governed by the National Bar Council (Consiglio Nazionale Forense) and supplements to those regulations
c) supervise the correct and efficient practice of legal apprenticeship
d) organize and promote the organization of training events in the context of the professional training duties of the members
e) organize and promote the organization of specialization courses and schools
f) supervise the conduct of members pursuant to the Code of Conduct
g) checks endurance, effectiveness, regularity and prevalence of the professional activity
h) protect independence and professional reputation
i) supervise the professional training duties of the members
j) provide opinions on the determination of fees due to members
k) may promote the establishment of chambers of arbitration, conciliation and alternative disputes resolution bodies
l) elect components of CDD – District Disciplinary Council
m) supply information to citizens

The Bar association operates also though a foundation, Fondazione Fulvio Croce , a foundation dedicated to enhance the legal profession, provide services to lawyers and promote and develop the legal knowledge and culture.
